Mailboxes of Iowa City located at 308 E Burlington St, Iowa City IA is the go-to resource for all of your shipping and packaging needs. Our staff is industry trained in shipping and packaging  and is able to help with the smallest envelope being sent through the US Postal Service to a complicated packaging job being shipped overseas. We can pack and ship [almost] anything to [almost] anywhere in the world.


 

CONSTRUCTION UPDATES

 

 

Monday May 22nd- Tuesday May 23rd we will only have 1-2 parking spaces available. The parking garage across the street is free for the first hour. Please call us if you need help carrying in your box.

 

We offer a free pick-up service when you ship through us. Please call or email to schedule a pick-up. 

 

Wednesday May 24th there will be no parking available. Access the store entrance from the sidewalk on Burlington St. The parking garage across the street is free for the first hour. Please call us if you need help carrying in your box. Store hours may be adjusted this day if all entrances become inaccessible. This is the last day of major construction.

 

Thursday May 25th there will not be any parking spots available, so please make use of the parking garage across the street and street parking. Please call us if you need help carrying in your box.  Access the store entrance from the sidewalk on Burlington St. 

 

Friday May 26th-Wednesday May 31st we will have limited parking spaces available while the concrete cures.

Holiday Schedules

Mailboxes of Iowa City is closed on New Years Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day and Christmas. The carriers do not operate on these holidays. The US Postal Service is closed on Veteran's Day, Indigenous Peoples' Day, President's Day and Martin Luther King Day as well, but Mailboxes of Iowa City is open for business on those holidays and is able to process your UPS, FedEx, DHL, SpeeDee and US Postal Service shipments.  All other carriers run on these additional holidays.
